Hubspace is an entity under the umbrella of Innovation Central Society (ICS), a non-profit organization incorporated in May 2012.

 

Our mission is to help the technology sector to grow and the business community adopt technology into their operations. We assist entrepreneurs to build ventures; and innovators to connect with peers, mindsets and resources. 

As a non-profit organization, we are led by a dedicated group of Entrepreneurs, Researchers, and Community Members who generously volunteer their time on our Board of Directors.

Will Cadell

Will is the CEO of Sparkgeo, a geospatial technology company, and the Chair of ICS-Hubspace’s Board of Directors. Compelled to create mapping experiences on the web, Will founded Sparkgeo, a geospatial consulting firm, in 2010, and his company has grown to be a leader in the geospatial world.

John Kason

John is a Portfolio Manager and Certified Financial Planner at Fieldhouse Capital Management Inc. servicing the Prince George Region, the Okanagan, and the Greater Vancouver Area and the Vice-Chair of ICS – Hubspace’s Board of Directors. 

Lynda Pattie

Lynda is the Executive Director of AscenTech Solutions Inc. and the Principal of MicroAge and offers extensive program management experience coupled with detailed functional/technical expertise in the health and post-secondary sectors. 

Dr. Dennis Johnson

Dr. Dennis Johnson is the President and CEO of the College of New Caledonia and brings 29 years of experience in the post-secondary sector to CNC.

Dr. Kathy Lewis

Dr. Kathy Lewis is currently Acting Vice President of Research at the University of Northern British Columbia, Professor, and former Chair of the Ecosystem Science and Management Program.

Dr. Kafui Monu

Dr. Kafui Monu is a recently tenured Associate Professor at the University of Northern British Columbia and the President of the AIS Special Interest Group on Game Design and Research. 

Andrea Sterling

Andrea Sterling is a Professional Biologist based out of Prince George who started her career working as a researcher for the Federal Government, then for a consulting company, before starting her own company, Sterling Applied Biology Ltd.
